No photo to add just a little funny that I didn't want to forget about. Since I use this blog as a "scrapbook" I couldn't not write about this. We started Preschool Camp at church today. The theme this year is Busy Bea's Ranch. Bea is a cowgirl and her ranch is a ranch with bee's, not your regular ranch/farm animals. We are learning about the beatitudes. The children get to go to worship each day and participate in singing with Bea. Well. . . dear sweet Tanner was in the back. (only about 4 rows deep, not really the "back" at all) He told his teacher that he was like Zacchaeus because he couldn't see. I guess he is paying attention in clubhouse on Sunday's :)

Good News
Jordan had his appointment with Dr Chung, our allergy and asthma doctor, last night. He is weaning himself off of Allegra and she told us that we can try milk again. We learned of the milk allergy when he was nursing so he has NEVER been able to enjoy "real" milk or even ice cream. For a treat today, we went to Dairy Queen. Would you just look at that smile :)

Sandestin '09
Oh what fun we had. The boys really enjoyed themselves this year. What a difference a year makes. With Tanner swimming like a fish, it made it a lot easier on me not having to be in the pool right there with him. There was something new in Sandestin this year . . . . the ZIP LINE. Yep, you guessed it. My children zipped over water on a wire line. Jordan got real confident on his way over and had to show "Look mom no hands" on the way back. Tanner did very good too. He held on the whole time and that was fine by me!
On Friday night, Terrell and I couldn't be outdone by our children so we decided we would do it too. Don't worry there are any pictures to post. The photographer, aka "ME" was hanging from the wire. I didn't go prepared to "zip". I have to say, it was a ton of fun and I would do it again.
I was able to get some good Christmas card beach photos so watch your mail around the first of December for two beach babes. Here again, don't worry, it's not Terrell and myself :)

Camp Comer
Can you tell this little guy missed his big brother? Jordan left on Sunday, June 14th to go to Boy Scout Camp at Camp Comer near Mentone, AL. He was gone all week and came home Saturday, June 20th. Jordan had a wonderful time while there but I did find a letter that he never mailed. He was telling us how homesick he was and that he wanted to come home. I sent him a small notebook so that he could do a little journal each day of what he did. I was reading it and he said "Thursday night is parent night and I really hope mom and Terrell are planning on coming. I want them to come and take me home" on another day he wrote "Even if mom and Tanner can't come, I hope Terrell comes and takes me home" Do you know what this did to me??? Good thing he didn't mail the letter :o) He was glad he stayed and he said he did have a great time and learned a lot. One thing he didn't learn was "Hygiene in the Wild" Pew Wee he smelled bad.

Happy 5th Birthday Tanner James!!!
Ahoy there Matey! What would we do without our Mrs. Mary??? She is a lifesaver. We had our Pirate Party at her pool and there were at least 65 folks in attendance. I think this was our first year to not have gobs of food, drinks and cake left over. Tanner really enjoyed himself and the party seemed to be a big hit for the landlubbers as well. This pic was Tanner's "real" boat. Tanner told Mr. Ron from day 1 that he had to build him a "real live" boat for his party. Mrs. Mary found this one and saved the day. . . . . . and saved Mr. Ron too :)
All of the kids and some adults too, got to swim and then chow down to some good ole pirate grub and grog. Mrs. Joley Barnes did our cupcakes and treasure chest cake. They were both such big hits and I think she may have walked away with some new customers. I know we will be repeat customers.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day very memorable. We love you all!!

Washington D.C. 2009
UGH, what an early morning. We all got up and had Terrell and Jordan at Helena Intermediate School at 4:45 am. Tanner and I watched as some 170 plus students, parents, teachers and more loaded 4 chartered buses and headed out. Final destination was our nations capital, Washington D.C. We heard from the guys several times throughout the day via text messages and some phone calls. They made it to Monticello then traveled over to Williamsburg, VA for the night
